The first question you need to answer therefore is whether you need to have a good ranking on Google etc.

If the answer to this is ‘no’ then you will not need the SEO services. If the answer is ‘Yes’ then a degree of SEO will be required – how much will depend on the nature of the project and your knowledge of SEO.    

SEO can include a lot of different functions.

Not only does the website have to be designed and created correctly but the text that appears on the site should be written the ‘right’ way.

SEO is a specialised field and as with Marketing some designers choose to outsource this function.
