Web marketing
Having a website does not mean that anybody will find it. You should always have a separate budget for marketing – whether this is online (i.e. through the internet) or offline. Do you know how to market your website? Some forms of marketing are reasonably easy others require systems to be put in place to run the campaigns – such as pay per click. Most designers will either run marketing campaigns themselves or will outsource this to companies who specialise in web marketing.
What are the key words and phrases that you would expect your clients to use to find your website in the search engines? What you think might be an obvious choice is not always the best.
