Roger Nuttall, County Business Networks

Roger has been involved in the Internet from the early days (around 1990).

His first projects involved IP communications between the Ministry of Defence, the American Department of Defence, and blue-chip Aerospace companies in both the UK and America. Involvement at this work lead him to become a member of the British Computer Society.

In 1998 he achieved an MBA and developed a specialism in 'Service Quality'. A year later he co-authored an Academic Paper dealing with Service Gap Analysis, which was presented at the First International SOMA Conference at Bentley College, Boston, USA.

He was a founder member and for two years, vice chairman of the British Internet Development Association and is now a director of The Web Group, both bodies who sought and seek to put quality kitemarks on practitioners of our profession.

Roger is currently putting the finishing touches to a series of Master Classes on the subjects of Service Quality and Concepts of Web Design, to be delivered this summer onwards.

This morning he will share with you an insight into how you, the client, can prepare yourself to work effectively with your specialist search engine optimisation company.
