What do we do

We help start ups, small and medium sized companies:

  • Get established on the Internet
  • Relaunch old and tired websites
  • Create web marketing campaigns
  • Optimise websites for Search Engines
We offer a whole host of other services related to ensuring our clients make the most of the opportunities presented by the Internet. Whatever is needed we can deliver, such is the breadth and depth of the skills and abilities in the group.

We have a  process that goes like this:

  • Initial contact established by phone or email to the Web Group
  • Fact Find document completed
  • Project Specification created
  • Project Specification made available to all members
  • Members’ Presentations to potential client
  • Contract Awarded by client
  • Project completed

All companies that need our help are invited to use the feedback form to contact us with your request. We will then contact you to discuss your needs.

There is no charge for this service.

Sometimes a simple, short phone call is all that is required. But more often than not you will recognise the advantage of allowing us to talk in depth about your project.

This will generally involve you filling in the Fact Find Form.

The Fact Find is the starting point that allows us to fully understand your project. It consists of a list of questions. Some of which might not apply but the majority of them will. They are all important.

As you go through the list you might wonder why some of these questions are important. We have written a Help section that explains each question, why it is important and what sort of information we require.

Basically the form establishes:

  • The objectives of the project
  • Design style
  • Competitor analysis
  • Marketing
  • Budget
  • Timing

The questions will possibly make you realise that there is more to commissioning a website than you first thought.

Once you send us the Fact Find Form we will read through it and add our comments and suggestions. Or possibly we will ring you to talk through some of the points.

Over the course of a few discussions we will have a Fact Find document that we are both happy with. This forms the Project Specification.

You can at this stage walk away from any further involvement with us. But we hope that you will realise the value you gain from continuing through our process.

The Project Specification is made available to all our members. They can see exactly what the project involves, the timing and the budget. They are then in a strong position to decide whether they are qualified to take on the project and whether they can meet the deadline required.

Those members that consider they can meet all the requirements will contact you personally to either arrange a meeting or to discuss some further points. Generally, they will all write a detailed proposal covering how they will deliver the project.

Having received these proposals you are in a position to create a short list of those designers you want to interview.

It is then up to you to decide which proposal and designer you liked the best and to contract with that designer.

The advantages to you of the Web Group process are that:

  • You have a fully specified project brief that has been designed to meet your requirements.
  • All the designers that contact you have exactly the same project outline. This means that they are all quoting for the same project, therefore all the quotes can be compared on the same basis.
  • You also save all the time you would have spent presenting your requirements to all the designers individually.
  • You will only be approached by tried, tested and professional designers.
  • If you’re not happy about something you can always ring us at the Web Group.

The Web Group does not charge you for all this high quality advice and service.
